Amalgas HGV Class 2 driver will work as part of our Site operations team and provide a range of innovative and responsive solutions to our customers needs on prestigious construction and logistics projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Carrying out relevant daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as per Operational Procedures
- Completing deliveries in accordance with procedures and customers requirements
- Helping the Logistics team with loading and unloading your vehicle
- Following rigorous operating and working standards
- Representing Amalga to the client and providing great customer service and always leaving a positive impression
- Deliveries will involve palletised, and various security screened goods, including high value items
- Other tasks as instructed including cleaning your vehicle and trailer
- You will report directly to shift supervisor and Transport Manager
- Other duties as required
Skills required:- Valid LGV Class 2 (Cat C or above) License held for at least 5 years
- Experience driving an HGV in the UK for at least 3 years
- CPC Driver Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph card
- CSCS Card (due to deliveries to construction sites)
